Chilli & Garlic Prawns with Garlic Mayo & Crusty Rolls

If you're looking to spice up your lunches and evening meals, then this Chilli and Garlic Prawn combo served with small pieces of Ready to Bake Crusty Rolls may just do the job. ​​​​​​​​

Ingredients


  • 1 pack Paul Hollywood Ready To Bake Crusty Rolls

  • 4 tbsp light mayonnaise

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • 1 lemon (one half zested and juiced, other half cut into wedges

  • Pinch smoked paprika

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 200g raw king prawns

  • 1 red chilli, thinly sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

  • Handful fresh parsley, chopped

  • Olives to serve


Method


  1. Preheat the oven and bake the Crusty Rolls according to the pack instructions. Warm an ovenproof serving dish for a few minutes 

  2. Meanwhile mix the mayonnaise with the crushed garlic and squeeze in a little lemon juice. Transfer to a small dish and sprinkle with the smoked paprika

  3. When the Crusty Rolls are almost ready, heat a frying pan over a fairly high heat. When the pan is hot, add the olive oil then the prawns, sliced chilli and garlic and the lemon zest. Fry for a few minutes, just until the prawns turn pink all over. Tip them into the warm serving dish with all the garlicky chilli oil and sprinkle over the parsley

  4. Serve the hot prawns with lemon wedges, the pot of garlic mayo, olives and crusty rolls torn into chunks for dunking in the oil
